According to the Highway Safety Code, SOS Ticket offers the following services:
- Analysis and handling of the statement of offense.
- Legal representation in Court for said statement of offense regarding the Highway Safety Code.
- Saved demerit points are free of charge.
In order to allow the SOS Ticket team to attend adequately to their members, they must commit to respect the following guidelines:
- Upon reception, provide SOS Ticket with the statement of offense as well as any supporting documentation required, taking care of clearly indentifying them.
- Upon reception, provide SOS Ticket with any document related to the statement of offense, taking care of clearly indentifying them.
- Cooperate in good faith, at the best of their accuracy and in a courteous manner, with lawyers and employees of SOS Ticket working to defend their rights.
- Any date of hearing must be received at our office at least 30 days before said date. Any date of hearing received in an untimely manner will be subject to fees determined by the administrative and legal departments.
- Please note that travelling fees may be requested depending on the judiciary district.
It is important to note that:
- To the extent that you do not want to negotiate an agreement, or if any negotiation is rejected by the Crown, the member must be present in Court the day of your hearing, unless specified otherwise by SOS Ticket’s legal team.
- It is your responsibility to verify your hearing date and provide us with it without additional delay by email at info [at] sosticket.ca or by fax at 514-388-3994.
- It is your responsibility to keep with you any confirmation of receipt of the documents you have sent to our office.
- It is your responsibility to provide us with your statement of the event at least seven business days prior to your hearing date.
- To the extent that the legal team has not yet received the evidence submitted by the Crown, it is possible that a request to postpone your case be placed in order to offer the member a complete and enlightened defense. If a postponement would cause the member prejudice, they must advise SOS Ticket promptly and clearly.
SOS Ticket is not liable in regards to the representation of its members in front of the Court in the event that their obligations, stated in this document, are not respected.
- If a member wishes to cancel their subscription 10 days following their enlistment, it will be possible to reimburse the full amount paid for our services. Although, please note that administrative fees of $20.00 will be charged.
- If a member wishes to cancel their subscription more than 10 days after their enlistment, it will not be possible to provide them with a reimbursement, although they will benefit from a statement of offense credit.
- All legal information provided and legal acts are carried out by a team of lawyers experienced in this field.

Please note that fees of $25.00 will be charged for each check with non sufficient funds (NSF).
